Synopsis: Two stories: one about Antonio and Obdulia, and how they get to know each other in Buenos Aires in 1930; the other one, about the big family that arises from that encounter. When his great-grandfather dies, a young man inquires into his family?s history, finding out in the origins something that nobody know.

GONZALO TOBAL

Gonzalo Tobal was born in Argentina in 1981. Between 2001 and 2004 he studied Film Directing at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. “Cerrar la Tapa” (“To shut the lid”) is his first 16 mm short film. With it he was given a Price for the Best Fiction Short Film in 1? Festival de Cine de San Telmo 2003, and took part of the Competitive Selection of the 12? Certamen de Cine y Video de Santa Fe 2003 and the Etiuda 2004 Selection. With his second short film is “Album Familiar en cuatro entregas” (“Family Album in four installments”), color 16 mm participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus #3 (2005).
