PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB
Germany, 5'30min, 2004

Director: Paul Schwarz

Screenplay: Paul Schwarz, Florian Foest
Camera: Florian Foest
Editing: Sybille Eckhardt
Producer: Tobias Mosig
Cast: Alexandra Kunz, Christoph Rohn

Synopsis: This film shows the joyful job of a chambermaid cleaning rooms. Apparent daily business – like placing candy on the pillows, whiping trays and sorting out flowers – develops into a repetative choreography. The film aesthetic tries to focus the viewers attention on small things therefore creating its own tension. The leading actress of this 5:30 minutes short film is a professional ballet dancer acting out her dance steps synchronically to the music of “Anitras Dance” taken from “Peer Gynt–Suites” by Edvard Grieg.
